MEMOIRS OF A VOLLEYBALL MOM

Writer's picture: Olihe OkoroOlihe Okoro

This week, Ola had her last tournament playing competitive volleyball. She is off to college in the Fall and will perhaps play recreationally when she has the time. I have watched her play for 6 years! Needless to say, I have been in the bleachers cheering her on and that translates to many hours watching volleyball, In that time, I have learned a lot about volleyball, as I did not play growing up. Much of what I have learned is so relatable to life. So many lessons. I pulled out 10 to share as Ola ends her high school volleyball career, and I, as a volleyball mom. Download and enjoy the read.
